Now no date of next hearing - where's the justice ?

Being the corporate honcho, Sahara has never forgotten to fulfil its Social duties. We the people of India have witnessed majority of affirmed changes in the presence of Sahara Group. Even after serving for years he have to see the deeming days, the case was again adjourned, I don't know on what basis but I feel its someone's political game to postpone the case again and again. Do you know how many families strives on Sahara? what about them? Anyone has the answer?

No Proposal Acceptance, No want to hear from Sahara group, No want to nothing... What is Sahara really liable for? It was 22k CR, than iit published as 37k CR and Now no date of next hearing. How anyone can be behind the bars without proven guilty? Where's the justice ?

No Sahara to Indian Cricket

I am a die-hard fan off Cricket, I eat cricket, I sleep cricket, I drink cricket. But there’s something different about the Indian cricket team these days. Something’s not the same. No player is sporting a jersey that has the name of Sahara in it. In a strange way, it’s just not cricket.

It is acknowledged that the team of Sahara, with its endeavours, has maintained the Positive balance of the cricket. Even the former cricketer like Kapil Dev respects the humanness of putting his efforts in upbringing the sports activities and patriotism of the Sahara chief Subhrato Roy Ji. In his interaction with the media, Kapil Dev said that Saharasri is like a God to its workers.

When it comes to hockey, Sahara Parivaar India took a giant leap by declaring cash rewards for the achievers. In the year 2012, Shri Sardar Singh and Shri Sandeep Singh were rewarded with a grand prize of Rs 11 lakh each for their winning performance in the field of hockey. Mr. Subrato Roy Sahara chief cultivated the interest of promoting our national game and showed true patriotism for the country. In the year 2010, Sahara India Parivaar handsomely paid Rs 1 crore to Hockey India, this contribution was done so that the players can suffice can play peacefully and portray their perfect sporting spirits. As a result of all these efforts, young men and women were encouraged to participate in our national game.

SubratoRoy and his team have always worked harder for the betterment of the society, and its endeavours in the field of sport stems from the same spirit. I think the profound attempts of Sahara Pariwa India in developing the nation in every possible field should be respected. It is our time to express our solidarity and standby the Sahara team in their rough times.

“Never a bright Student” was the call of his teachers, who now have become an Impresario commonly known as SaharaSri ji , Chairman of the Sahara group.

Who knew that the tiny footsteps who was born in a small state of bihar on 10th June 1948 would make an trenchant mark in the economic advancement of a developing country like India. After completing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Technical Institute, Gorakhpur,  the Bengali boy tied the knot with Ms. Swapna in  1974.

The journey of accomplishment began in Gorakhpur with just 2000Rs in his pocket and was aided by 3 workers along with a pair of chair & table. Today an established successfully running company Sahara Group is a serve output  of ‘sweat & toil’ by Mr.Subrata Roy.To keep a billion dollor company running uninterruptedly  wouldn’t be possible without patience, intellectual capacity to manage and sole believe & trust in his breadwinners by Saharasri ji.

A dedicated follower of Indian Guru Babuji , Mr.Roy  believed firmly in the emotional value consider himself as a guardian of the world’s largest family, and embrace the philosophy of “collective materialism”.

He inaugurated into Deposits Par-banking business and thereafter got his wings to fly higher. Now a conglomerate Sahara India Pariwar has touched the fields from aviation to consumer products, real estate, entertainment, finance, hospitality and lot more.

The greatest acknowledgement a company could ever get is being given the honor of Largest Employer after Indian Railways which was awarded to Sahara Group in 2004, by Time Magazine. What add to the glory of Sahara group is the managing skills of their chairman Mr. Roy, who handles the giant work force evenly.

A current recruitment drive with vacancies of 56k+ at senior positions is a proof of their growth along with the country’s development by providing helping hand to thousands of them.

Journey of Sahara Chief with big heart and noble efforts

I was about 15 years old when Sahara India Pariwar’s trailblazing journey began, in the year 1978, with just Rs 2000. Today, the Sahara India Parivaar is present in every field – be it real estate, media, Cricket, tourism, entertainment and hospitality Industry - and has an army of 12 lakh employees directly or indirectly working for it. A journey of 35 years, in itself, indicates a long term relationship with the Indian Citizen. It is Sahara that believed in the goodness and potential of the human story – both working class and other citizens of India.

Despite being the head of a conglomerate, Shri Subrata Roy – who hails from a very small town of Araria, Bihar - loves to call himself a managing worker.

Sahara is an active contributor of economic growth in the country, and the personal achievements of the Sahara Chief are recognised and honoured world-wide. The Sahara chief was felicitated with honorary doctorate in business leadership from the University of East London in 2013.  India today recognised Mr. Roy efforts and acclaimed him the most influential businessmen in India in the reputed publication India today in the year 2012.

The current scenario is displeasing and the rude behaviour that Subhrato Royji is being subjected to, is a mark of prejudice. The one sided media is tarnishing the image of Mr Roy, as a result of which the Chief of Sahara Pariwar is faced the attack of black ink of a protestor. If somebody has to be blamed then it should be SEBI as the sri Roy appeared nobly appeared before SEBI on April 10 2013 to clear the misunderstandings but all his attempts went in vain. With whole hearted efforts even after the scenario the Sahara team paid back the instalments. The Sahara team has compensated the SEBI to protect the interest of the investors. If anyone has to interrogate it should be SEBI not Sahara Chief Subrato Roy

Sahara helped in tying the knots of marital bliss

As all say marriages are made in heaven, but souls are blessed here on earth, by Sahara, for the weaker sectors. Since its inception from 2004 till date, the SaharaPariwar India has proudly taken up the expenses of Kanyadaan, Biddai and other ritual ceremonies for people – where it marries off 101 couples at Lucknow at Sahara Saher. The Samuhik Vivaah Ceremony warmly embraces guests of different ethnicity. Respecting the needs of every religion, the marriages are solemnized by respectable priests of every community. In 2014, the Sahara proudly gifted daily utilities worth of Rs 2.5 lakh to each couple to start them off on their new journeys in life, in the best possible way.

Even I was a part of those 101 marriages, and everything was so perfectly organized, I still remember that awesome day. The arrangements here were done with giving attention the minute details. To keep the memories younger forever the best professional photographers were hired. Systematic decoration of flowers and colourful Rangoli made us feel blessed.

This milestone step is a giant leap of protecting our cultural values and helping the weaker sections of portraying their interest thus leading happier lives. Like ours, Sahara made the day by reuniting the souls of heaven and cultivating the culture of happy families. Till date the initiative drive has protected the interest of 1111 couples of getting hitched in marital bliss.

Sahara have formed the concrete bricks of realty

I have been a fan follower of Sahara since ages. The Sahara Group is fulfilling the dream of aspiring citizens. From affordable housing to luxury real estate projects, theSahara India pariwar headed by Sahara Chief is making major contribution in the real estate sector. In India and abroad, the townships and residential complexes have a feel of exclusivity and are suited for perfect living in an environment friendly place. The group is not just building houses, but building a name for the country, across the world.

Shaheed Diwas 2011

On 30th January, 2011, Sahara India Pariwar observed the Shaheed Diwas, at Sahara Shaher along with the families of the Martyrs who laid their lives for the country during 3 of the worst attacks inflicted on the nation in recent times, which are the Kargil War, 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack and Dantewada Massacre.
Sahara Group has felicitated the 127 families of Kargil, Mumbai and Dantewada martyrs by ‘Saharasri’ Subrata Roy Sahara, Managing Worker and Chairman, Sahara India Pariwar and other members of Sahara India Pariwar. The families of Kargil, Mumbai and Dantewada martyrs brought together from all across the country on the occasion of Shaheed Diwas to join Sahara India Pariwar in paying tribute to the national heroes who attained immortality through their supreme sacrifice of life in upholding our esteem and strengthening the edifice of our indivisible national unity.

On knowing about some of the Kargil Martyrs families where children were still small and they were facing some financial problems, ‘Saharasri’ announced to further extent Sahara’s financial support to the 301 children of 152 Kargil martyrs, who were still below the age of 18 years, till their adulthood.

Support to families of Kargil Martyrs

Sahara India Pariwar has been at the forefront in providing emotional support and financial assistance to the dependents of those who attained martyrdom. Since 1999, when Sahara adopted 1,006 dependent family members of 300 families, deep emotional support and financial assistance is being extended as per the ranks of their deceased.

In addition to providing monthly assistance, help is also extended for specific activities such as marriages, purchase of academic books for children who are studying, etc. In addition to financial assistance, emotional support during times of celebrations and mourning is also extended by ensuring participation of Sahara workers.

Assistance to the tune of Rs. 12.18 lac per month is provided to the family members of the Kargil Martyrs.

Former Prime Minister of India, Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee expressed his feelings as, “I thank Sahara India Pariwar for taking up the responsibility of 300 Kargil martyrs' families. I believe more such institutions and families will come forward to fulfill their duty towards the nation.''

Sahara for its contribution to Indian sports

As a sports lover, I am indebted to Sahara for its contribution to Indian sports. This group has done what India's sports management bodies could not do -- Promote sports in true spirit. Sahara has made its presence felt in all leading sports in the country, be it cricket, hockey, badminton, wrestling, boxing, archery, track field events, tennis and not to forget the high-profile F1. The group has invested unprecedented amount of money in sponsorship of sports personalities and teams, ensuring that sportspeople get world-class facilities to train and hone their skills. Through its Sahara India Sports Awards the group has not only recognised the budding and talented sportsman but also to our unsung heroes. The sportsmen supported by the group have brought laurels to the country on many international sporting platforms.

It was this group that had contributed in making Commonwealth Games in 2010 in Delhi a success without bragging about it unlike the then Congress Government in the state headed by Sheila Dikshit. Sahara had also adopted 95 promising individuals from 6 Olympic disciplines, namely Wrestling, Boxing, Shooting, Archery, Track & Field and Tennis till the end of 2012 London Olympics with a view to help India claim more medals in the international sporting arena. These sports persons won 42 medals at the Commonwealth Games 2010 and 20 medals at the Asian Games 2010. For more about Subrata Roy Sahara

Sahara Group- illuminating India since inception

A normal disheartened reaction that usually comes out from every individual when lights are turned off even for an hour. Have you ever thought of people living in parish territories who are waiting eagerly for the electricity to light their roads?? The spontaneous answer to such questions is, “y should we?”

But the Sahara Group had a deep thought over it and is doing the task that the government should have done by coming up with a huge power house plant at Titilagarh to be built on 950acres in Balangir district of Odisha by investing 8000 crores.

The project will create several jobs in the region which the youth of the state is looking forward to.
The Sahara Power plant will serve the multiple problems beside providing employment to almost 2000 people with indirectly increase their per capita income and can have a better standard of living.Apart from providing edible drinking water, SIPCL looks into the personal needs of the humanity in that field and aims to provide Mobile Health Units (MHUs) and also primary and higher secondary education for the juveniles of Balangir district.

Keeping in mind the sustainable environmental, technologies used reduces the effluents, mainly ash by 50%, thus affecting the surroundings in an ostensible way.

More such power projects are streamlined in their planner books. All they need is a strong back bone of trust in them.

Roti kapda aur makan

Roti kapda and makan are considered as the basic amenities required in life. There won’t be a single person on this planet earth who doesn’t dream of an Owned house with all the possible facilities. I had one of the similar mental pictures in my mind.

Pleasurable life is when one gets a sound sleep on your own comfortable couch. Am I getting it? was the constant question passing through my mind. The other questions wandering my mind were whether my children would get a cultural and hygienic environment? , whether we will be comfortable with the other locality? and so on so forth.

Sahara group hereby came with magic yardstick in my life and blew away all the stress of purchasing a reasonable accommodation in a reputed housing society. Sahara India Pariwar enlarged its family by adding lakhs to the family and by accommodating them in world’s largest chain of integrated townships which ranges from 80-300 acres each (approx).

An affordable home with satisfactory residents is whatSahara India Pariwar gave me. A common man like me is not only grateful to the Sahara Group bt at the same time happy to have such a compassionate Company joining our hands and contributing to the society.
